A Diminutive Empire Style Mahogany Secretaire A Abattant, Fourth Quarter 19th Century. The hinged fall with an inset tooled leather writing panel, enclosing a shelved interior over seven small drawers, having a cupboard door below enclosing an open interior and single drawer, raised on carved and ebonized paw feet.
Dimensions: Height 51 1/4in; width 27 1/4in; depth 15 3/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Philadelphia Main Line Collection.
Condition:
Structurally sound. In an overall restored condition. General marks, wear, scuffs and surface scratches throughout. Minor lifting, reoairs and restorations to some veneers. With working key.
