Pennsylvania Queen Anne Walnut Drop-Leaf Dining Table
A Pennsylvania Queen Anne Walnut Drop-Leaf Dining Table, Mid 18th Century. The rectangular top with drop leaves having single notched corners, scalloped skirt to either end, raised on cabriole legs terminating in well shaped trifid feet. Tulip poplar secondary wood and oak flying rails.
Dimensions: Height 29 1/2in; width 53in; depth closed 20 3/4in; length open 60 1/2in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.

Condition:
Structurally sound. Retaining an old surface in honest condition. Butterflies to the underside holding the each of the two board drop leaves together. Good oxidation throughout. General marks, wear, abrasions and surface scratches throughout. The top with an area of discoloration and staining. There is an old small glued repair to one rule joint.
