An American Mahogany Wheel Barometer, B. Pike & Son, New York, Mid 19th Century. Fitted with a thermometer, silvered barometer dial and level. The thermometer inscribed "B. PIKE & SON / 166 Broadway / NEW YORK".
Dimensions: Height 42 1/4in; width 12 1/2in; depth 2 3/4in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.

The present owner had the barometer professionally restored. Structurally sound. Minor movement and lifting to mahogany veneers to sides of case. General marks, wear, abrasions and surface scratches.
