His collection reflects his interest in the Delaware Valley, with an emphasis on mid 18th through early 19th century silversmiths and figured hardwoods vetted by his discerning eye for form and surface. Among the highlights are a Thomas Stretch Philadelphia clock, a collection of figured maple furniture, and silver by noted makers such as Joseph Richardson Sr. and Richard Humphreys.

A Set of Six American Sheraton Tiger Maple Side Chairs, First Quarter 19th Century. Each having a ring-turned crest above slat backs, over a trapezoidal rush seat, raised on tapered ring-turned legs with a slight splay to the front feet.
Dimensions: Height 35 1/4in; width 17 1/2in; depth of seat 15 1/4in; seat height 17 3/4in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition:
Structurally sound. Each in overall good condition. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches.
