His collection reflects his interest in the Delaware Valley, with an emphasis on mid 18th through early 19th century silversmiths and figured hardwoods vetted by his discerning eye for form and surface. Among the highlights are a Thomas Stretch Philadelphia clock, a collection of figured maple furniture, and silver by noted makers such as Joseph Richardson Sr. and Richard Humphreys.

An American Polychromed Cast Iron Garden Sprinkler, Modeled after a Mallard Duck, Early 20th Century. Fitted with its original heart-shaped sprinkler head and hose connector to tail.
Dimensions: Height 9in; width 13 1/2in; depth 6in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition:
Retaining an old polychromed surface. Heavy oxidation, pitting and rusting to metalwork throughout. The sprinkler head appears to be complete. We cannot guarantee the functionality of this lot.
