Early Flintlock Pistol w/ELG Proof & London Engraving
An early flintlock pistol. Engraved with an ornate "London" on the sides and a ELG proof mark on the left side. The wooden grip is in good condition and the barrel is in fair shape. The flintlock mechanisms have a good amount of rust and the piece does not appear to be functional. Estimates originate this piece in the late 18th or early 19th century. An interesting piece for a collection, but not suitable for defending honor. See Photos.
