An original lithograph exhibition poster on cream wove paper after Spanish artist Miro (1893-1983) titled "Expo 83 - Galerie Maeght", 1983. Edition size unknown. Production authorized by Miro. Sheet size: 32" x 22.5". Some minimal edgewear associated with age. In very good condition. Miró was born on April 20, 1893, in Barcelona, Spain. His mature style evolved from the tension between his fanciful, poetic impulse and his vision of the harshness of modern life. He worked extensively in lithography and produced many murals, tapestries, and sculptures for public spaces. In spite of his fame, Miró, an introvert, continued to devote himself exclusively to looking and creating.
