Hasui Kawase "Kamigamo Kyoto in Winter" Shin-hanga Print
Hasui Kawase (Japanese, 1883-1957). Modern Japanese shin-hanga woodblock print titled "Kamigamo Kyoto in Winter, " depicting a village with leafless trees and craggy hills in the background. Marked in the plate along the lower right with Kawase's seal. With a Watanabe Publishing Company C seal along the right margin, indicating the print was published between 1929-1942. Further inscribed in Japanese along the lower margin.
