10K Gold VFW Auxiliary Pin w/ Ruby
10k yellow gold Auxiliary VFW military or Shriner's pin. With inset enamel decoration and one ruby crowning the shield between the laurel wreath.
Diameter: 1 in.
Condition: Given its age and use, the pin is in very good condition with no major chips, dents, or losses. There is no visible sign of restoration when inspected under UV light. There is discoloration to recessed areas; dust collected in recessed areas, consistent with its use and age. There is a loss to the enamel, most noticeably to the blue enamel. The jewel on the top is intact with no cracks, chips, or visible scratches. On the backside of the pin, there are some areas of oxidation, which one can easily expect given its material and age.
