Wayne Thiebaud "Freeway Curve" Print 1979
Wayne Thiebaud (American, 1920-2021). Etching and aquatint on paper titled "Freeway Curve" depicting a busy highway curving from the lower edge to the left edge, 1979. Pencil signed and dated along the lower right; numbered 16/50 along the lower left. With labels from B.R. Kornblatt Gallery and Rentail Gallery Baltimore Museum of Art affixed to the verso.
Sight; height: 20 in x width: 23 in. Framed; height: 30 in x width 36 1/4 in x depth: 1 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no visible tears, creases, losses, or restorations. Housed under a non-acidic mat. Framed under glass; light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
