Large Chinese Ming Style Cloisonne Bowl - Damaged
Large Chinese Ming style cloisonne bowl. Beautifully decorated along the interior with white geese and flowers; along the exterior with a pair of cranes and a pair of deer amidst profuse floral and foliate motifs. Against a teal blue ground.
Height: 4 3/4 in x diameter: 9 1/2 in.
Condition: Significant wear throughout including tarnishing to the metal, pitting, dents, and losses to the enamel, especially along rim and the center of the bowl consistent with age and use. The rim is warped. Wear to the underside including losses to the enamel and some tarnishing to the metal.
