Gold Plated Micromosaic Dog Brooch
Gold plated micromosaic dog brooch. Comprised of a central micromosaic panel, the tesserae minute and finely done, depicting a dog and anchor (for fidelity) in a landscape. Surrounded by a gold twisted rope frame, then a blue ring with gold ball accents, a translucent red ring, and the outer ring gold plated with scalloped floral micromosaic details. With c clasp closure.
Diameter: 40.28 mm x depth: 11.92 mm. Gross weight: 12.8 g.
Condition: Wear and loss to the gold plating. The c clasp lifting the metal and the metal missing a piece near the clasp. No losses to the mosaic.
