Sefer Pnei Shlomo, First Edition. Zolkiew 1846.
A complete copy of Sefer Pnei Shlomo on Mesechta Baba Basra, written by R. Shlomo Ganzfried. R. Shlomo Ganzfried (1804-1886) was born in Ungvar (Uzhorod) to his father R. Yosef. He was subsequently the Rav of Ungvar and published various important Halachick works. Upon publication of his very first Sefer entitles 'Keses HaSofer', the Chasam Sofer was very impressed, and proclaimed that it is a vital work for all Sofrim. R. Ganzfried is most famous for his classic work 'Kitzur Shulchan Aruch', which was considered the most fundamental work in modern times, until the publication of 'Misnah Berurah'.
