Cidushei HaRitva, Munkatch 1908. The Copy of R. Shalom Goldenberg Rabbi of Svaliava.
A complete copy of Chidushei HaRitva on various Masechtos, printed at Munkacs (Munkatch) in 1908. This copy belonged to R. Shalom Goldenberg, son-in-law of the renowned R. Yitzchak Eizik Weiss, author of 'Divrei Yitzchak' and Rabbi of Svaliava. R. Shalom succeeded his father-in-law as Rabbi of Svaliava when he departed to become Rabbi of Munkacs. He established a highly respected Yeshiva there as well.
Various ownership inscriptions on title page, including "David Goldenberg", who was a relative to R. Shalom. He affirms that this copy "belongs to our Master the Rabbi of Svaliava". Also seen is the ownership stamp of the Yeshiva in Svaliava.
