BELGIAN SHORT SWORD, EARLY 19TH CENTURY
A Belgian short sword, complete with a leather scabbard. Made circa 1830's-1850's. With a wood and metal handle, metal guard, and a crest engraved on the blade with the words "Pugno Pro Patria". On the sword handle is a rivet made of a 1830's-50's Belgian coin depicting a lion holding the Belgian constitution. The sword measures 28" in length.
