MEXICAN FOLK ART MASK AND BALINESE WOOD MASK, I. B. ANOM
A vintage Mexican folk art wooden rooster mask, with a wire on the back so it can be displayed on a wall. For scale this mask measures 12" H x 6.5" W x 6" D. Additionally, a Balinese Happy/Sad Face Mask by Master I. B. Anom, and signed on the back by the artist. Ida Bagus Anom Suryawan (I.B. Anom) is an internationally recognized wood carver, mask and puppet maker, dancer and puppeteer. His success has brought him to United States to work at the San Francisco Asian Art Museum and the Sante Fe Folk Art Festival.
