CHINESE SOAPSTONE FOO DOG CHOP SEALS, 19TH C.
Two pairs of Chinese carved soapstone chop seals with finnial Foo Dog carvings on the top. Circa 19th Century. The larger pair have Chinese seal script stamps on the base. The smaller pair of red soapstone chop seals are unbranded. Historically used in China to sign documents, artwork, and other paperwork. The larger chop seals measure 7.25" H x 2.25" W x 2.25" D.
