"ALLEGORY OF SPRING", EUGENE DELACROIX, 1873
“Allegory of Spring” a signed engraving after the original work by Eugene Delacroix of France created between 1856 and 1863. This engraving was published by the Galerie Durand-Ruel in 1873. Delacroix (1798-1863) was well known for his paintings and is considered as one of the precursor artists to the Romantic movement. This piece measures in the frame 21.5″ H x 21″ W.
