LARGE MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD, ALDIS & LEGGOTT
A large mahogany sideboard with an attached mirror by Aldis & Leggott, cabinet makers from Hull. The piece features four drawers, two side cabinets with pull-out shelves, and a specialized interior section for bottle storage. Decorative carvings on the legs and facade, as well as brass drawer pulls, highlight the craftsmanship. Dovetail joinery is observed on the drawers, indicating quality construction. The mirror shows minor silvering loss, and the wooden structure displays some signs of wear consistent with age, including small scratches and woodworm holes. Stamped "Aldis & Leggott, 17 Paragon Street, Hull". This stunning sideboard measures 77'' H X 78'' W x 26'' D.
