Bob Dylan - Planet Waves (1974, Asylum Records 7E-1003, Gatefold LP)
This is an original 1974 pressing of Planet Waves, the fourteenth studio album by Bob Dylan, released on Asylum Records (7E-1003). It features The Band as Dylan's backing musicians and includes iconic tracks such as Forever Young (two versions) and You Angel You.

The album cover features hand-drawn artwork by Dylan himself, with the phrase Cast-Iron Songs & Torch Ballads in the lower right corner. The back cover contains handwritten text, tracklist details, and production credits, adding to its raw, artistic presentation.

The inner sleeve is from RCA Victor, indicating that it may be a replacement rather than the original Asylum Records sleeve.

Condition (Based on Visual Inspection):
Cover: Shows visible discoloration, foxing, and general wear. The edges and corners have scuffing, and the cover has an aged, well-loved appearance.
Inner Sleeve: The included RCA Victor sleeve appears to be a replacement, as the original Asylum Records sleeve is missing. The paper sleeve has creases and wear.
Vinyl Record: Appears in good condition with visible surface marks and dust, though no deep scratches or cracks are immediately noticeable. The Asylum Records label remains intact and legible.
Notable Features:
Original 1974 U.S. pressing on Asylum Records.
Gatefold jacket with handwritten elements and Dylan’s own artwork.
Backed by The Band, adding to its significance in Dylan’s discography.
Features two different versions of Forever Young, one of Dylan’s most celebrated songs.
This album is a must-have for Bob Dylan collectors and vinyl enthusiasts.
