Frank Sinatra - This Is Sinatra! (1956, Capitol Records, T-768, Mono LP)
Here is an original pressing of This Is Sinatra!, released in 1956 on Capitol Records (T-768). This compilation album collects some of Sinatra’s best singles recorded with arranger Nelson Riddle, featuring iconic tracks like “I’ve Got the World on a String, ” “Love and Marriage, ” and “The Gal That Got Away.” The album cover features Sinatra in a classic pose, exuding the charm and style that made him one of the greatest vocalists of all time.
This edition features the Capitol turquoise label and is a mono pressing. The back cover includes vintage artwork and liner notes highlighting Sinatra’s versatility and popularity in the 1950s.
Condition:
Cover: Shows signs of wear and edge separation (visible on the spine and corners). The front image retains strong color but has scuffing and some ring wear. The back cover has age-related discoloration and foxing.
Vinyl: The record appears to have visible scuffs and scratches but retains some gloss. The Capitol turquoise label is intact with no major fading.
Spine & Seams: Noticeable wear and splitting (as seen in detailed photos).
This is a great addition for collectors of classic jazz, vocal, and Sinatra memorabilia. A true piece of music history from the Capitol Records era!
