The Raiders – Indian Reservation (1971) LP Vinyl Album (Columbia Records)
This is an original 1971 pressing of Indian Reservation by The Raiders (formerly Paul Revere & the Raiders), released on Columbia Records. The album features their biggest hit, Indian Reservation (The Lament of the Cherokee Reservation Indian), which became the band's only No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. The album blends rock and pop with socially conscious themes, making it a standout release from the early '70s.
The LP includes the original Columbia Records "Inner Sleeve, " which features promotional articles on other artists.
Condition Report (Based on Visual Inspection):
Vinyl Record: Shows visible surface marks but appears glossy. Light scuffing and hairline scratches may be present, but no deep scratches or warping observed.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): Moderate wear, with edge and corner scuffing. There is a name written in the top right corner ("Sitzer"). Some creases and signs of handling.
Inner Sleeve: Original Columbia-branded paper sleeve with printed articles. Some age discoloration and minor edge wear are visible.
Label: Classic red Columbia label, clean and intact with no visible writing or fading.
A great addition for collectors of classic rock and '70s pop, especially fans of socially charged music.
