Judaica - a rare Yemeni silver case for the Megillah Esther A case made of silver with colored stones made by goldsmith work from the 19th century.
The scroll house is massive and hand-made by a craftsman, the item is very early and typical of the inlay that was done in Mizrahi sacred objects in the middle of the 19th century.
This is not a Yemeni scroll house made in Israel by Yemeni artists, this case is made in Yemen.
The scroll house is in good condition with minor defects and deficiencies.
