A CASED THE BEZARD COMPASS FOR NAZI GERMANY
This is a military version (64oo MILS) of the compass on which the word "SMER" (direction) was engraved inside and outside the lid.Originally the Bezad Compass was officially designated on the boxes "Diopter-Orientierungsbussole", i.e. magnetic compass with an alidade, but it became very famous under the name "Bézard-Kompass". It was immediately adopted by the Austrian Imperial Army and later in Germany.
