Antique big map, circa 1590, hand painted etching, taken from the book " Ortelius", the map depicts the wanderings and life of Abraham, the patriarch. Shows Palestine and part of Egypt. The map is surrounded by 22 medallions depicting Abraham's life until his death. The other side of the paper shows a page from the book with writings from it. The paper is brown, dry and delicate, with wear mostly around the edges. The entire paper is 56X49cm.
