A German silver and ivory desk set - Art Deco period early 20th Century
silver 800/1000 and cut glass with elephant ivory letter opener blade (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 or Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) with original case. Fully hallmarked Germany after 1888. Dimension:s letter opener 3.4 x 35.2 cm, weight 74 gr; tray 7.3 x 21.6 cm, weight 88 gr; ink pot 8.5 cm, height 11 cm, weight 622 gr. Item condition grading: **** good. Ce.S.Ar. Certificate of antiquity (pre-1947).
