A manuscript of the book of Bereishit-Shemot, the Torah with Onkelos's translation and Rashi's commentary. The verses and the translation are interwoven, a verse and the translation. Rashi's commentary is in the page margins.
Yemen, 19th century.
211 large leaves, written on both sides. 32 cm. Apparently meant for prayer leaders.
Condition: Most of the leaves are in good condition. A number of leaves are damaged in fair condition. In a few places the manuscript is completed in handwriting from a later period. Ancient binding, faded.
