Large Sterling Silver Hanukkah Menorah, Jacob Rosenzweig, London, England, 1924, Judaica.
The base and stem are richly embossed with scroll, shell and foliate ornaments.
Detachable upper section with eight mobile branches and a detachable servant light (Shamosh).
The stem is topped with gilded finial in the shape of the Tables of The Decalogue inscribed in Hebrew: to light a Hanukkah candle (blessing), topped with a Torah crown.
The base is engraved with a dedication in both Hebrew and English - This Menorah was presented in everlasting memory to the Manchester New Synagogue by Mr. And Mrs. K. Prige, Kislev 5685, November 1924.
Monogrammed cartouche to the base - K.P.
Fully hallmarked (on each piece) for London, England, dated 1924, maker's mark for Jacob Rosenzweig.
