Yaakov Benor Kletter, Israeli, born in Poland, 1897-1969.
Yaakov Benor Kletter was born in Poland in 1897. He was also trained in architecture and graphics. In 1921 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and settled in Jerusalem. Where he began to engage in graphic design and photography as an autodidact. In 1924, he designed the third "Golden Book" of the Jewish National Fund, together with other items, and in 1926 an album of photographs of the Old City of Jerusalem was published in 1931. The style of the photographs, 30, together with his brother Yitzhak Kletter, published the photo album "Tel Aviv - The New Hebrew City." The works that appeared in this album were influenced by European modernism and included the use of photomontage. From the 1940s, he worked mainly in architecture, and he designed the community center in Jerusalem, and since the 1950s he lived alternately in Jerusalem And in Netanya.
