Alois Heinrich Priechenfried, 1867-1953
A n important portrait painter in the history of Jewish art. In his time, the artist gained recognition for his portraits of rabbis.
He completed his artistic training during the years 1884-1885 as a guest student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Prof. Christian Griepenkerl.
