Five hundred years of Jewish history through prints from Ruben's collection and other collections. Limited edition of 260 copies - this is copy #195. Bound in green goatskin with gilt illustrations and lettering. Presented in a fancy hard box with plush lining. In addition: a supplementary volume from 1982 with Rubens' signature.
Alfred Rubens (1903-1998) was a collector and historian, director of the Jewish Museum in London until 1983.
English, 32X25 cm (box size). Very good condition, slight wear to box.
