Long letter with a mussar maamar by Rav Yitzchak Waldstein, mashgiach in Novardok Yeshivos
Rav Yitzchak Waldstein Hy"d (1894-1941), a leading talmid of the Alter of Novordak, was mashgiach in the yeshivos in Pinsk, Baranowitz and Ostrowtza. He was the son-in-law of Rav Alter Stutchiner (son-in-law of the Alter of Novardok and father of Rav Chaim Shmuelevitz).
He was a prominent mussar figure before the Holocaust. He learned Torah from his Rebbe and edited and published the Alter of Novardok's
Madreigas Ha'adam. He also edited the
Chayei Mussar booklets published by the Novardok Yeshivah. His articles were compiled in
Toras Yitzchak (Bnei Brak, 1974).
