רבי צבי חיים עפשטיין - למד אצל דודו (אחי אביו רבי אפרים עפשטיין משיקגו) רבי משה מרדכי עפשטיין בסלבודקה ובחברון, והיה ממצוייני הישיבה. בשנת תרפ"ח התמנה לרב באטלנטה שבג'ורג'יה, שם שימש ברבנות שנים רבות.
