נדפס בזיטומיר בבית הדפוס המפורסם של רבי חנינא ליפא ורבי יהושע העשיל שפירא, נכדיו של הרה"ק רבי משה שפירא אב"ד סלאוויטא.
בדף המגן האחורי כתובה הגהה למדנית ארוכה. בתחילתה נכתב: "זה הגמרא שייך לר' שלמה ראבין פון הארחוב. לזכרון מה שנראה לי, במהרש"א... ".
