רבי ישראל חיים דייכס - [תרי"א-תרצ"ז] למד בישיבות קובנא וסלבודקה, היה רב בניישטט-שאקי (-שירווינט) בולדיסלבוב, בשנת תרס"א היגר לאנגליה והיה רבה של לידעז, הוא ערך את כתב העת האנגלי בית ועד לחכמים, וחיבר את הספר דרשות מהרי"ח.
