מכתב מוזיאלי: נשלח אל קונסול אוסטריה בצפת. מוזכר "חיים הגר"
מכתב היסטורי מעניין מאוד, שנשלח אל קונסול אוסטריה בצפת חתום JOSEF RATT ומוזכר בו "חיים הגר". ללא תאריך. שנות ה'ת"ר [המאה ה-19]. תוכן המכתב לא נבדק.
המכתב הינו בלועזית, תוכנו לא נבדק, וייתכנו בו תגליות היסטוריות וחסידיות. כידוע, באותן השנים כוחם של ה'קונסולים' היה בלתי מוגבל. הם היו בעלי הבית על אזרחי מדינותיהם בפני השלטון העותמני. הם היו רשאים להושיב אדם בכלא או לפטור אותו מישיבה בכלא ואף יותר מכך.
