מכתב מרבי יוחנן סופר מערלוי. תשמ"א.
מכתב תנחומים עם הוספה בכתב יד ועם חתימת רבי יוחנן סופר מערלוי.
האדמו"ר רבי יוחנן סופר מערלוי [תרפ"ג - תשע"ו], כיהן כאב"ד וראש ישיבת 'אהל שמעון מערלוי' וכאדמו"ר חסידות ערלוי - אחת מהקהילות החסידיות הגדולות שנוסדו בארץ ישראל לאחר השואה והיה מראשי 'מועצת גדולי התורה' של 'אגודת ישראל'. הרבי היה נצר לשושלת רבני משפחת סופר המעטירה - דור חמישי לחתם סופר. אוד מוצל מאש משואת יהדות הונגריה בה נספו אביו בעל ה"יד סופר" הגאון רבי משה סופר דומ"צ ערלוי (תרמ"ח-תש"ד), וסבו הישיש בעל "התעוררות תשובה" הגאון רבי שמעון סופר אב"ד ערלוי (תר"י-תש"ד, בן ה"כתב סופר"). לאחר השואה, החל רבינו לכהן כרב ומורה הוראה בעיר בודפסט. הוא עסק בתורה כל ימיו, בעמל ובמסירות נפש, חיבר ספרי חידושי תורה ופסקי הלכות, והיה מגדולי הרבנים בארץ ישראל.
