Rabbi Avraham Zeide (Seidel) Heller (1894 - 1990) was the head of a yeshiva in Safed and one of the most prominent public figures in the city.
Rabbi Yisrael Zissel Dvoretz (also known as the pen name: Platin) (1885-1968) was a rabbi and an ultra-Orthodox activist. He served as rabbi of Udi and Bizada, Lithuania, editor of the Torah journal Tavuna.
