Yehuda Even Shmuel (Koffman - 1886 - February 23, 1976) was the Israel Prize laureate for the year 1973 in the field of Jewish Studies, and was awarded the Rabbi Kook Prize for Torah Research for the year 1959.
Rabbi Tzvi Yehudah Hacohen Kook was the head of Yeshivat Mercaz HaRav and one of the most prominent spiritual leaders of religious Zionism, the son and disciple of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Cook.
