Imperial Russian Naval Shako Plate 35th Regiment
Imperial Russian Naval Helmet Plate of the 35th Regiment. The eagle was used in 1833-1856 on the shakos of the Russian Navy. The insignia is in the form of a double headed crowned eagle, with a shield showing St.George slaying the dragon. The eagle is seated on an amazon shield with the number 35. In the background two crossed anchors. The eagle comes with a leather plaque on which it was mounted, inscribed on the back with collection stamps.
