Flemish school, 16th century, copy after Lucas van Leyden (1494-1533) 'The dismissal of Hagar and Ishmael (Genesis 21:18-21)', unsigned. This is a painted copy after an etching by Lucas van Leyden (1494-1533) from 1516 (Bartsch 18, New Hollstein 18). There is a known painted work of art with exactly the same composition after Van Leyden in the private collection of Kasteel Huis Bergh in 's-Heerenberg but in a different style. Oil on panel, 17,5 x 23,2 cm.
