Menachot Ya'akov Solet, Iggerot Shlomim - practical Kabbalistic cures and segulahs by Rabbi Ya'akov Katz of Yanov. Wilhermsdorf, 1731. First edition. Especially rare sefer, and certainly in such completeness and beautiful condition.

In earlier generations, when medical services were not easily available to commoners, there were many books of cures. Usually these cures were not helpful - at best - and in certain circumstances they even caused harm, especially practical Kabbalistic treatments. This is the reason that with the development of more accessible medical services, these books have almost entirely ceased to circulate.

This sacred sefer, Menachot Ya'akov Solet bears a distinguished approbation by the G-dly Kabbalist Rabbi Yoel Ba'al Shem of Zamoshtch, a contemporary of the author's, who attests in his approbation that he checked the segulahs in this sefer and he found them to be reliable!

The entire sefer appears here in full, including both parts, halachic and Kabbalistic. The first part includes a manual with 24 examples of iggerot for popular use for public or private needs. Part II is an anthology of segulahs, cures, incantations and requests, alphabetically arranged, medical segulahs and medicines for various illnesses.
