Passover Haggadah [with the addition of the story of the exodus from Egypt per Sefer Shemot, with a Russian translation and pictures, and musical notes]. Vilna, Y. Pirozshanikov, 1901.

The title page, in Russian:

Paskhalnoe skazanie ... s russkim perevodom, s illyustratsiyami Gustava Dore i drugikh znamenitykh khudozhnikob. S dvumya nizheslieduyushchimi prilozheniyami: 1. ... Bibleiskoe noviestvovanie ob iskhod evreev iz Egipta, po knigie Shmot. 2. Khad Gadya. Paskhalnaya piesenka v stikhakh na russkom yazykie s podobrannoi staro-evreiskoi melodiei dlya odnogo golosa s khorovym pripievom ili s akkompaniamentom fortepiano. Slova i muzyka I. I. Pirozhnikova. 

Additional title page in Cyrillic letters. The words "Shemot" (at the end of no. 1) and the words "Chad Gadya" (at the beginning of no. 2) on the additional title page were written in the original in Hebrew letters and the copy here is by transcription.

Haggadah in Hebrew and in Russian. The musical notes and the translation are by the publisher Yitzchak Pirozshanikov, with pictures by Dura. The picture-plates are spread throughout the sefer. The original haggadah and the translation are on top of one another. In "Sippurei Yetziat Mitzrayim"  they are alongside each other, in facing columns. "Chad-Gadya" is in Russian only, from left to right.

Fine-very fine condition. Aging stains. Beautiful new binding.
