Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah in rhythm and rhyme, surrounded by elucidations and legal novellae entitled 'Apei Ravrevei' and 'Apei Zutri, ' by Rabbi Yitzchak Chayut of Poznań. Kraków, Yitzchak of Prostitz Press, 1591. First edition. Rare sefer. Incomplete copy.


Extraordinarily important halachah work, mentioned several times by Sha"ch on Yoreh Deah. In his preface, the author complains about the state of Torah study in yeshivahs in his times as a result of the multiple scholars who are not studying for the sake of Heaven, etc.


Copy that belonged to Rabbi Nachum Dovber of Sadigura. His stamp appears on the title page: "Nachum Dovber Friedman: and "Minchat Shai."
