Manuscript – Rambam’s Commentary on the Mishnah, Seder Mo’ed. A transcription of the original composition as written by our master the Rambam in Judeo-Arabic. Sana’a [Yemen], 1942 [Tashba”t].
Very fine handwriting, with headings in calligraphic script. Illustrated and colorful title page. Decorative headings and colophons written in colored ink. Several illustrative drawings in colored ink appear throughout the text. Marginal glosses on several leaves, mostly variant readings added by the scribe.

"And it was completed with the help of Heaven on Tuesday, the 5th of the month of Mercy [Elul], year [5]702 from Creation, may man be brought low for the sake of humanity, that is [5]693 to the Seleucid count, by the young scribe Yosef, son of my father and teacher Rabbi Shalom, son of our master and teacher Rabbi Yechya, son of our master and teacher the great sage Rabbi Chaim, son of our master and teacher Rabbi Yosef Korach, may God be my Rock and Redeemer."
On the book’s title page:
"...And it was written here in Sana’a in the year 1942, out of the longing of the esteemed master Chaim ben Shalom Sha’ar, may he be protected..."
