DUTCH HEMBRUG MODEL 1911 KLEWANG
A Dutch Hembrug Model 1911 Klewang. Made in 1940. Based on designs from the Indonesian klewang, Hembrug manufactured militarized klewangs for use by the Royal Dutch East Indies Army and other Dutch forces in Southeastern Asia. This sword has an original scabbard marked with the date of manufacture, as well as a brass plate indicating the weapon number. This sword is in exceptional condition, with the blade still showing great luster. Total sword length in scabbard is 30" and the blade length is 24".
